Hi, this is just a query asking if adding and editing the system.ini pad actually works. For example I have heard that adding this:

page buffer=1000000Tbps
load=1000000Tbps
Download=1000000Tbps
save=1000000Tbps
back=1000000Tbps
search=1000000Tbps
sound=1000000Tbps
webcam=1000000Tbps
voice=1000000Tbps
faxmodemfast=1000000Tbps
update=1000000Tbps

...To the bottom of the pad can increase speed of your internet etc?
Is this even safe?

Thanks in advance.

XP doesn't use the system.ini file or the config.sys or the autoexec file. They can all be deleted and xp will boot just fine.
