Edimax ew-7128g wireless PCI card
Does anyone have any experience of the card above?I'm having problems installing it on my desktop .Basically, when I put the card in the free PCI slot, (or any other PCI slot for that matter) it is simply recognised as i enter into windows (found new hardware - network controller). I pressed cancel and installed the software that came with it. after installation i was told to resit, but still asks me that a new hardware was found - network controller. Anyone have any advice as to how to solve the problem and get the card recognised? How do i find out if a conflict is the problem? what do i need to look for etc?

If you followed the instruction to the letter it should work! One thing that might be worth trying is when you get the new hardware dialogue box again try telling Windows to search for the drivers automatically. It could be that the card is faulty, but if you cant get it to work your best bet is to go here.. http://www.edimax.com/en/support_te...
