This only happens with EAX... it will not do this with dobly surround or miles or anyhting else. This sound card I have is Sound Blaster Live! 5.1. And it supports EAX and EAX 2 as it says. Dark29delx: a few ideas that might help with EAX; 1. check for the latest game patch. 2. try the Unified Drivers. 3. lower the graphics hardware acceleration to the basic level. this setting can be found by going to: Start, Control Panel, Display, Settings tab, Advanced button, Troubleshoot tab, Apply, OK.
