When I insert a dvd or an audiocd into my cdrom drive, and then doubleclick it, windows media player 9 starts, but it doesn't play the cds/dvds, only after I use the dropdown menu inside wmp and select the cd/dvd it starts to play it, but before I just needed to doubleclick the cdrom icon in windows explorer and wmp started and started playing right away.
I checked the links and they are perfectly ok:
Audiocd:E:\Programme\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe" /prefetch:3 /device:AudioCD "%L"
DVD:
"E:\Programme\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe" /prefetch:4 /device:DVD "%L"
I also checked the autorun keys in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom
AutoRun (set to 1 on my system)HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer (NoDriveTypeAutoRun) set to b1 00 00 00 on my system
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
(NoDriveTypeAutoRun) set to b1 00 00 00 on my system[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\AudioCD\shell]
@=""tried setting it to
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\AudioCD\shell]
@="play"(audiocd on), but doesn't help.
So does anybody know how to tell WMP to play audiocds/dvds right away after I doubleclick the respective icons in windows explorer?
