Hi Ive searched the forums but have not found a question like mine so i want to ask for some advice
I currently have Windows Vista Beta 5270 for testing purposes and want to install it on my laptop but it only has a cdrom, can i use some program to compress the 1.96GB ISO i got from DVD Decrypter to fit on a regular 700MB CD?
I mean if you can take an 8.5GB DVD and put it on 4.7GB or even 800MB then why not with a DVD-ROM? Thanks a lot

SWAG the fact that your PC does not have DVD-ROM suggest to me that your machine may not be capable of handling Vista beta.

My Desktop runs it extremely smoothly as long as you do not connect to the internet, and i only want to install it on my laptop to show it to friends who are seeking a "sneak peek" at the new OS, it dosnt matter how slow it runs or not, i just want to know if it is possible to compress DVD - CD forget the whole vista tyhing just in general can i compress some DVD-ROM to a CD-ROM?
