I concur with Sabertooth. It soulds as if you are wanting to burn a DVD-R in a CD writer. That is not possible.
However, there is a new type of CD Burning technology available on some new burners called HD_Burn. Using that technology, you can fit approx. 1.5GB on a CDR

i guess your not understanding me.... ok let me try to explain... its taking a dvd-r disc and formating it a certain way to make it into a regular cd-r disc. ive heard that there is a way to do it from a couple of people... unfortunitly they dont know hopw to do it. now with a regular dvd-r u get what, 4.7gb... now the way it was explained to me is that u can take that disc and format it a certain way and make it into a like 10gb cd-r... its just a theory i dont know if theres any truth to it so if u do know anything about it please post if not then there is really no point to say u dont know what im talking about.... thanx...
