Comment: i have a laptop and a computer that has a problem reading dvd's....im using windvd4 to play my dvd's....i tried using wmp and other players too but it didnt work at all either....the one on my laptop is a TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SD-R2412 1 Drive combo.... (DVD/CD-ROM drive) and the one on my computer is a DVDRW IDE1004....both computers r on windows xp professional sp1....is it my dvd/cd drives or is it windvd4 itself that is messed up??..

Reply: um yes they r original dvd's....um firmware might need updating??..what do u mean by that??..how would i update that??..and how do i set it in dma mode??..
