i have this strange problem, i have a dual OS that is RedHat Linux 9.0 and winXP media center edition. the problem is that whenever i use my windows OS my dvd (Liteon DVDRW LDW-411S) could not read from CD's/CD RW nor could it write to CD-R or CDRW but it could read DVD's and could write on DVD-R too.
In Linux i could perform all functions that my dvd drive is designed for.
