I have a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4040B LG DVD wrighter and when i go to burn onto a dvd it will stop in the middle and just stop responding i dont know y i have all driver i can find please someone help me!!!

Is the drive external or internal? XP seems to dislike external drive for some reason. If it's internal, it sounds like a software conflict, while installing the software for the drive (burning software or w/e), did windows prompt you saying that the software on your computer may not be compatable with the software that you're trying to install?
