Hello, i have a memorex dvd+RW/+R burner. It seems as though the dvd burner does not want to read movies, or any disc for that matter, that i put into it. Once i place a disk in there, and close it, the little orange light comes on for about 5-10 seconds, but then nothing happens... Any thoughts?

As far as movies go, have you installed a DVD playing program such as WinDVD or Power DVD?
The other discs you say won't play, what type of discs are they? Are they DVD recordable discs and if so, are they the + or - format? Remember, your drive is only going to be able to read the + format, not the - format.
