DVD apps make the computer freeze

My computer is running A+ except when i use an application related to DVD. Especially: - When trying to burn a dvd using Nero - When trying to run Norton ghost (it generates an error log file) Ihave no problems with CD burning. The results are most of the time the blue screen of death. here are some links: http://www.familleboutet.com/error.jpg http://www.familleboutet.com/error2.jpg Also, sometimes while i'm in windows explorer, it shuts down by itself, i lost my desktop and taskbar icons and a few seconds later, everything reappears.
