I am having a problem after uninstalling Kaspersky Antivirus and the company cannot help me. After uninstalling it, I went to replace it with McAfee and the install program said that it could not continue because Kaspersky was installed. When I went to the folder where Kaspersky was installed, it was no longer there. However, when I did a search I found 4 folders for Kaspersky under the Documents and Settings folder.

When I went to delete them I couldn’t and I have admin rights. I looked at all of the programs running in memory and none of the Kaspersky programs were. Can you help?

"programs running in memory" is not equivalent to running services/processes.

Did you uninstall it or just remove the folder where it was installed?
