Duel boot system.

If I want to duel doot a system (ME/XP) can I load XP on to a clean formatted (d Drive) from in windows ME or do I need to make a bootable XP CD and load it that way? If so on the CD...How is that done?

It's kind of tricky, but I set up a dual boot with Win 98 and Xp. I set up 2 partitions to start with and then loaded windows 98 on 1. Then while in windows 98 start to install xp but choose the clean install not the upgrade. One of the options is for advanced just check to choose the partion you want to install on and while it's setting up just choose the other partition.

Dual booting is easy! make sure you have 2 clean partitions.I installed win98 on C: (Fat32),then installed WinXp(BETA2) on d: - and formatted using NTFS - easy as that - it works...if youd like more detailed help,email me. Cheers
