Hi all,
I have a sort of "problem" with DVD playback in XP, I'm not sure if it's some sort of a feature built into XP or what, but it's annoying. I have a dual monitor setup, both of them running on my "NVidia GeForce 4 Ti4200 with AGP 8X". At first I had no problem watching DVD's, I would open the playing program and they would run in a window like they do on most single-monitor setups, but after I reinstalled XP, whenever I play a DVD it opens up full screen in the other monitor (whichever I didn't open the DVD program up in) in addition to the normal window it usually runs in. I'd like to know how to disable this so that I can still use the second monitor while the DVD is playing?

I've tried all different types of software, Windows Media Player, WinDVD, etc. and they all do the same. Also, it seems it's not only DVD's but it does it in other video playback (mpgs).

Does anyone have any idea how to disable this? I have looked everywhere in Windows and NVidia's driver settings, and all over Google, and I can't find a thing about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
