I have a 20GB hdd and a 17GB hdd. One (the 20GB)currently has XP Home, the other will have RedHat Linux 9 soon. When I had Mandrake 9 on the other hdd, I could dual boot from a floppy, because it kept wanting to screw around with my MBR.
I have researched pretty thoroughly the possibility of using NTLDR to boot Linux. I found many articles that explained how do to that with both older versions of Windows and Linux. Can someone tell me how to do this with the systems I have?

I've run WinXp and Mandrake befor on the same system without having to use a boot disk. It all depends on the order u install things, i installed WinXP first then Mandrake after and mandrake used its own boot select at the beggining. I would imagine Redhat would be the same way, but personaly i beleve mandrake beats out redhat in a lot of places. Good Luck

I had XP Home on a 80 G drive that I repartitioned so I could also run RH9. As part of the linux install, the GRUB boot loader was installed and it allowed me to switch operating systems at boot time. It works great. The install process should include GRUB as well.
