Can anyone tell me how to setup dual monitors? I have a PC with built in video and have added a second AGP card. Once the AGP card was installed the onboard video no longer works. Is there anyway to enable the onboard video?

It sounds like the BIOS is detecting your AGP card so is turning off the onboard video. You probably already figured that part out.

Hopefully you'll find a BIOS setting that you can change to leave the video enabled even with the AGP card. If you can't find something in BIOS, you are most likely out of luck.

The best, and easiest way, and the correct way to run dual video is just get a dual video card. It will have an output for each monitor and the software to give you selection options. You can get them in any computer store and a Matrox Dual Video starts at about $74. Sometimes it is just easier to "bite the Bullet" then try to get around things.

What does the dual video card give you that isn't already built into Windows??

Windows (starting with 98 I believe) will handle up to 10 video cards/monitors.

I can't say which way is better, but given that multiple monitor support is built into Windows, I wouldn't call using their method "trying to get around things"
