Comment:

I have a set up where there is a second monitor connected to my laptop to use as an extended desktop. The second monitor has no problems when it comes to moving windows or icons back and forth between the monitor and my laptop. The problem happens when I try to play a video. Say I was playing a video on my monitor, the video would play in a window normally on my monitor but it would also play full screen on my laptop. The revers happens if I open the video on my laptop screen. I have downloaded and installed the monitors driver from Dell but that didn't fix the problem. It also does not matter what program I use to open the video. Any suggestions? Thanks.

SwordyMcGee, I'm a little foggy on your setup, but as I envision it, you have only one output, correct? My 'gut' is telling me you need another which can display a separate image? Perhaps a second video card? Some of the more extensive cards allow for two unique outputs. Yours?
