Comment:

I have one drive partitioned as C and E. I have XP on C and Win 7 on E. Both boot and work well. I have Software Restriction Policy in place on XP C: drive. My question is, can I use Win 7's SRP on the drive Win 7 is installed on? I assume they are independent of one another but don't know for sure since I've never dual booted two different OS's before.

Local policy is applied to a single OS unless you applied it to the W7.

If part of a domain then that would be group policy and may be that it is enforced.
