Shouldn't cause too many problems. Unless all the boot info is located on teh c: drive. If you were to get rid of that you might have troubles booting. Just don't format i guess. But like Sabertooth said, why would you want two installs of XP? Personally, I would prefer just merging the partitions and having one install, but thats just me.

You will love it, I have Dual Boot XP and XP because my hard drive is just too big and wanted to devide it, any new programs I want to try I try on my second partition never messing with my first one, I also have MSN Explorer 9 on my first xp because I take a lot of photos and Microsoft's picture it and Library is free with MSN 9 and just a straight connection on the second with IE6, it really made a difference with sp1 but with sp2 they both are the same speed, I use partition 1 to do all my personal email for business and home photos & use the second xp for ordering and trying out things, I make a image of the first partitioned drive for safety and have had to reload it once, and does not disturb second partiton at all, I use PQ boot instead of xp's. When you have a large drive things do take longer and wanted to cut that time down, I like it my drive is 120 so just devided it into 2, I also used PQ to partition the drive, but you seem to already have it partitioned so you may not need it, so if you drive is big I think it saves me a lot of time, also when people come to my house and want to check their email or something on line, I just choose the second xp and they can not mess my good one up.
