have win xp and 2000 on seperate drives , want to install win 98 but keep both xp/2000. ihave the room and a spare fat 32 part for 98 but need to know how to fix the mbr after adding win 98. do i need to run some kind of repair on both win xp and 2000 ? i dont want to have to go from scratch install just want to add 98 and keep both other os. just need to know how to fix the mbr after win 98 thrashes them after the install. thanks a million. ps not many people thank you guys enough for your super work here. add my thanks to the ones that do !!

boot from the winxp. Go to the repair console.THat will dump you into the command prompt. the cammand you wanna use is mbrfix.exe or something like that. or type in "?" and it will give u a list of commands to repair your system.
