I am trying to setup a FTP server on my computer and I have a static IP address ready to do it etc.. altho when I goto the modems web interface control panel and goto "Port redirection" I Set it so port 21 redirect to local machine 192.168.1.2 Which is my machines IP (DHCP is off) but when I try to FTP into the machine it just seems to hit the router and not get redirexted to port 21 on he machine, I have XP firewall disabled same thing happens if I try to run a webserver, is there somethin im over looking (I have tried it on 2 dsl modems aswell)

Cheers
