Comment:

my wifes laptop is crashing. i keep getting errors that drwatson is not initializing with a code of 0xc0000006. it happens as soon as everything loads at startup. when it happens, computer wont do anything. I have been to safe mode and turned all startup items, etc.. off and it eventually works but is veeery slow. the more startup items i restart the slower it gets. so i'm not able to pinpoint one certain item. Its almost as if it is running out of memory. Memory tests fine though. i am unable to open task manager or control panel. it will just act like i never tried opening them.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Get rid of it. Unless you debug with MS it's worthless.

NT status code c000006 is related to bad paging space. Run chkdsk /r and re-allocate paging space may fix the problem.
