O.K..I'm going to try like heck not to sound too confusing. I just formatted xp from FAT 32 to NFTS. Now when I type my name or e-mail address in an open field the drop down box doesn't memorize it. You know......when you start to type you e-mail (in certain fields such as computing.net web site ) all you have to do is type the first letter and a drop-down box appears with the whole address ready to go. Is there a configuration to fix this or is this how a system runs on NFTS?

Christine...hello. Go into your Internet Options. Then click the Content tab. In there you'll see Personal Information and an Auto Complete button. Go in there and you should be able to turn that all back on.

Hi,
if you format a drive, all of the information is gone. Follow the previous users suggestion and keep on typing in all those forms.

I did do what JROB said (which seems like it should have worked )but no go. I even got one of those pop up windows from xp that gives you the option to auto complete your computer and still no go. I appreciate the help anyway.
