Have you talked with tech support?

I think you should always use windows update first, because the manufacturers' sites often do not have the SIGNED M$ DRIVERS for your hard ware. So just install your hardware(by that i mean put it in your pci slot or whatever). Then run windows update, and the driver update for the device will no doubt appear. If i doesn't let it scan your computer again.
