I bought this laptop computer from an auction its an IBM A20m thinkpad. It came with no O/S. I bought Windows XP/Pro I put the O/S and it works fine. The only problem i have is that I can't get the Network or ethernet conection in the computer to work.
I check with IBM for drivers and they have lots of drivers and I don't know which one I need. Does anybody know?

So are you looking for drivers for the ethernet card of for the laptop itself? You could probably get the drivers for the ethernet card right off the manufacturer's site. It's probably not an IBM card.

I believe it uses eftp3com.exe
The following is from a text note supplied with the driver:
This package provides the Ethernet driver for DOS,
Windows 95/98/Me/NT 4.0/2000/XP users.
The Ethernet driver enables or updates the Ethernet function of
"IBM 10/100 Ethernet Mini PCI Adapter with 56K Modem(3Com)" of the
following ThinkPad computers:
- ThinkPad A20m, A20p
- ThinkPad T20, T21, T22, T23
- ThinkPad X20, X21, X22
- ThinkPad A21m, A21p, A21e
- ThinkPad TransNote (*2)
- ThinkPad A22m, A22p, A22e
- ThinkPad A30, A30p
- ThinkPad i Series 1800(*1)
- ThinkPad i Series 1620(*1)
(Note) *1: Windows Me, 2000 and XP support only.
The DOS driver is included only for unattended installation
purpose.
*2: ThinkPad TransNote supports Windows 98SE/Me/2000/XP onlyIf you'll send me your e-mail, I'll send it to you.
