Drivers for AMD

OS: AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile T
CPU/Ram: 1.6 Ghz / 512 MB RAM
Product: Compaq v6211

Hey,

I just installed Windows XP Home onto my Compaq laptop that had windows vista preinstalled. I had to format my system and install a fresh copy of XP that I already had from my other centrino laptop.

After installation of XP, I am unable to find the drivers of this processor anywhere.. No CDs came along with the laptop, except for a backup folder of drivers and programs in the hard drive (that I saved onto my external hard drive) but that is of no use as those function only with Vista...

Help !!

Your best bet is to go to hp's web site and lookup the xp drivers for your model laptop.


Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.

After I installed a fresh copy of Windows XP on my laptop, I'm unable to find/lookup/install any drivers of the above items.
