I get this BSOD message about 10 minutes into watching video files.
and it says this...

*** STOP: 0X000000D1 (0X00000000, 0X000001F, 0X00000000)

*** Address 00000000 base at 00000000, DateStamp 00000000)

Beginning dump of physical memory.
Physical memory dump complete.

Any ideas how to fix this?

FYI, copying and pasting a URL to your post will automatically make it a working link. I personally prefer that because I can see where you are sending someone without clicking it.

Thanks for the hotfox link. I installed it but the problem remains.

I just ran a Memory Diagnostic tool to check for bad RAM (No errors found) .

After spending quite a while doing tests, it seems WMP10 is the only application that gives me this BSOD error. I've tried playing the same media files in Video LAN Player and PowerDVD with no problems.

So is it possible one specific application could produce this error? I did reinstall a codec pack a week ago, could this give a BSOD STOP error?

I also got a slightly different STOP error today:
STOP 0x0000007F (0x00000008, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Thanks for any help.

Unfortunatly I can only go back 5 days and that's not far back enough so a restore isn't an option.

Anything else I can do?
