My PC shut itself down and displayed this error message on the blue screen of death but what do I do to sort this out... my pc has also restarted about 10 - 15 times over the last week but this is the first time I have had this error message?

Last time I saw this, there was a driver conflict. Installed or updated anything lately? Look there, otherwise start removing hardware one piece at a time. Try booting into Safe Mode or "Last known good configuration", (probably won't help), and look for conflicts. XP has a restore feature, but I've never used it. Try restoring to a date and time before the problem arose.

That message is usually associated with a memory problem.
