Is there any way to retrieve an installed device driver? Lets say I install a modem driver such as lucent33895.exe and then I delete the executable once the modem is working properly. How can I find this driver and copy it to a CD? Or any driver for that matter, assuming I can identify the driver file itself? Thanx

There are a number of driver backup utilities on the net. An internet search (Google?) should give you plenty of options to choose from;

Not that this will do you much good, but the drivers are found in the c:\windows\inf folder.

Driver information files are found in the c:\windows\inf folder.

Drivers are found in the C:\WINDOWS\system and the C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers folders.
