Hi.
A bone question really but before reformating an old laptop I want to list all drivers currenty installed. (Just in case it goes horribly wrong!)
I tried the command "Driverquery" in the command line but got the message:- "Driverquery is not recognised as an internal or external command operable program of batch file"
Im running Windows XP
Why is something so simple hurting my head :(
Thanks in advance

See help and support pages. Usually you can see what might help. Search for "Get information about your computer"
hcp://system/sysinfo/sysinfomain.htm
See also msinfo32.
hcp://system/sysinfo/sysInfoLaunch.htm#
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

Perhaps you mistyped works on XP
Usage / Examplesdriverquery /si [This lists the drivers signing status, whether signed or Unsigned]
driverquery /v [ Generates a detailed report ]
driverquery [ Lists all device drivers ]To redirect the output to a file, use:
driverquery /si >C:\driverslist.txt
To redirect the output to excel
driverquery /v /fo csv >drivers.csv

or you could try this

It seems to be what you need
