All drivers should be as up-to-date as possible, however, Xp likes you to have digitally signed drivers (signed by Microsoft for use with Xp), and these are quite often NOT the latest, they are however the ones you want, coz if they aint signed, you've got a 50/50 chance of problems.
What I meant to say was that I was wondering what drivers should be updated like I know you should get sound card video card and bios drivers. But I wanted to know if there were any others.

If you do not have any problem, whatsoever, with what you are doing on your PC and you are happy with it, then you should not attempt to update any driver.
If you are experiencing problems with your PC and those problems turn out to be hardware-related or you want to experiment with your PC in an attempt to search for the better and to see if you can improve or speed the operation of your PC, then you may start with updating the drivers.
