Hi i recently did a repair installation of windows xp sp2 because i would occasionly get the blue screen of death, after finishing installation i found i didn't have any sound, i checked my devices and sure enough my SoundBlaster Live audio device had a exclamation mark next to it. I looked at the properties and found that there was no driver installed, so i put the cd in and tried to install the drivers. From the cd it appears to work( installation goes with no error, then asks you rebbot) but it appears that did nothing cause there are still no audio drivers installed. From the device manager it locates the driver thewn starts to copy it accross but thenb comes up with a message saying it failed because access was denied. Can someone please help me?

You need to uninstall your old drivers and reboot your computer before attempting to re-install new drivers
