I am using DIX here at home without any problems. I took it to my lodge and tried to run it but got an error. I am using a 500GB USB external HHD for storage. When I run DIX it fails in the dump process of copying file names. It runs and runs and runs. A dat and a xml file are created but when I attemp to browse the xml file I get the error "missing close tag in element drive". INFO: 285 ADDRESS; 00579068 STACK DUMP.

I have reformatted the HHD. Because it is a free program it is not supported by RUNTIME SOFTWARE. I cannot find any forum or other webpage devoted to DIX. can you help?
Bill

Might be an xml page thing. Look at it with notepad and see if the (x)html is written correctly and that the correct drive letter is present.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, are in my top 10
