I have DriveImage 2002 and have read that it is now not compatable with xp, This is a new computer and I had put it on and Imaged a copy to CD before I read that it was not compatable, I have always used it with my other computer which had xp on it, does anybody for sure know that it is not or is Powerquest just trying to sell another software? and if it is not compatable what do I do to get it off?

PQ is trying to sell DI 7. DI2002 works perfect with XP, but you need the two boot floppies to run the program. DI 7 will run within windows is the only advantage. Acronis True Image 6 is cheaper and will run within XP. Both DI 2002 and True Image 6 are great programs. Don't forget that DI 2002 will make one of your drives "Hidden" if your not careful to uncheck this function.

Thank You, when I did the image I went directely to cd, did not put on HD, I had no problems and it made the image fine, but of course I did not try it out yet, I think I will partition myself and take another image and put it on there, although on my other xp machine I had fat 32, this one is the other file and wanted to make sure there was not a problem.
