Does anyone know how to assign fixed drive letters to removable media in Windows XP Pro? This was possible under Win Me but I can't find a similar funciton in XP.

Right click My Computer-select Manage-open Disk Management-right click the drive and change drive letter. The drive letter you want to change to MUST be unused. If not change whatever is using that drive letter to a temporary drive letter not used, then make your change. Then move the temporary device back to a drive letter you want.
