hi, I was wondering if you could help with a win xp download glitch.
Just recent, my downloads don't go into the specified folder. They end up just as shortcut 1kb links under:
C://administrator/documents and settings/recent
Do you know reason? Should I reinstall os system? Is this possible without original cd?

compute, SWAG, sounds to me like you need a 'new' download folder (which will give you a new shortcut). Maybe Windows just needs to 'clear it's head'? HTH. Ed in Texas.
