Solved downloads and where they go

Specs: Windows XP Media Edition, Pentium 4 2.80GHz/ 1280MB
i have a usb wireless adaptor listed with my hard drives as DATA D its has internal storage of 3.75 GB i have 3 hard drives C F and G my computer dose not give me a choice where inter net downloads go and it always wants to place them in my wireless adaptor how do i change it to go into C F or G

A wireless adapter will not be recognized as a storage drive. Are you sure it's not a USB flash drive?

Next time you try to download something, click "save as" instead of "save", then you'll be able to choose were to put the file.

It will be a USB pen drive no doubt as USB wireless adapters do not have storage capability.

Assuming you are using IE, when you click on a download link, the dialog-box which pops up should have a "Browse" button in it. Click that to select your preferred drive and folder for the download.
