The YouTube Downloader people are aware of the situation and are currently updating to a new version. It is due to changes on YouTube itself. Watch their website for a version newer than 2.1.7

EDIT. I've just checked their website and they've done it - see here:
http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/

You will see mention of problems since 12 August. Best to uninstall your present one and download/install Version 2.5
