downloaded program files gone

CPU/Ram: p4 2.6/1024

when i click internet options/settings/view objects, thier is noting showing up in downloaded program files. macromedia flash player and yahoo pool still work though. did a search with show all hidden files checked and hide protected system operating files unchecked and they still don't show up. need help here. thanks.

ok, i found yahoo pool and macromedia flash player using the advanced search method.macromedia player in c:\document and settings\my name\application data. yahoo was found in internet explorer. it was my understanding that these were always in the downloaded program files or did they change it?

Hi jimmymac, hi everybody,

Once programs are installed in the system, the content of "Downloaded Program Files" is no longer necessary! it's just a kind of temporary directory! Don't worry!
