Downloaded files corrupt

When I download files through firefox and then try to run program I get an error message, files are corrupt.
I tried may different programs and I always get the same message.

No the download is an add on that firefox suggested. Actually it doesn't matter what the download is it says its corrupt.

Thanks for your input. I did figure out how to get my computer to download, I turned off the fire wall. All downloads work no corrupt files. Hope this helps somebody else.

Hi!!

I've been having same problem. But today, I'll try turning off Windows Firewall and work!!! Turn on again and didn't. That's seem to be the problem. Still don't know how making work without putting my self at risk. :(
