downloaded driver not works

I'm using ASUS Ge-force 2 MX 400 AGP. I have downloaded nVIDIA drivers from many sites many times by using Download Accelarator, Get Right and Flash Get 1.31 (More Than 10 times). But those are not working. When I trting to extract the file ( 40.72_win2kxp--- as a example) then a message appear ( the contents of the file cannot be unpacked. The exicutable you are attempting to run has been corrupted.Please obtain another copy of the file, verify its integrity and try again.) But when i download it by using windows own downloading software then it works. Can anybody tell me what's the problem with hte third party download managers? Please help me.
Yeah! The problem with those third party d/l managers is they suck.
With the manager I suspect if a d/l is interrupted and then resumed it may corrupt the download. With your browser an interruption usually means you must start over. With important files such as drivers you do not want to do a d/l with a d/l manager. If you are on dial-up do the d/l overnight, or something...
