Comment:

I downloaded a 2Gb file from a gaming site using IE8 on XP sp3, but when transfering file to the destination i chose when download started from the temp(?), the transfer box froze mid action and now i cant find the file anywhere.

I have chose all ways of seeing hidden folders, used the search function to try and find it and roamed trough all my temp files folders, to no luck at all.

Im trying not to download a 2Gb file at 50KB speed (server is slow) again... =|

Can anyone point me in the right path, please?

Thank you for your atention =)

... sounds like that you should have @ least most of "that" file I suggest that you go to "start" then click "search" then "all files and folders" then click "what size is it?"

... 2 GB = 2,097,152 Kilobyte so go under rather than over in the search.

... it may find something with the wrong extension

... thats to be expected ... what was the file? an..."iso"??
