I,m having a problem with sites not asking me to download and save / or run from website. Everything automatically runs from site. I want to be able to save it to a location on my hard drive.
I usually get this problem with quicktime videos. it used to give me that option to save to disk or to run from site. how can i get it so that it will always ask me first before running or downloading?
thanx for help in advance.

Depending on how the links work, you could try to right-click on the link to the file and select "Save targe as..."

Try this:

Double-click My Computer.
On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
On the File Types tab, click the appropriate file type in the Registered File Types box.
Click Advanced.
Click to select the Confirm Open After Download check box.
Click OK
