I have identical double icons on my desktop, when I place one shortcut only. If I delete one, both icons are deted. How can I correct it? Someone said, there are two desktops on my computer, but I don't know how to delete one. Please help. - Thanks in advance. Tom Tom Kelley

that IS strange. No you dont have two desktops. You may have different user profiles with a different desktop for that perticular user. Try adding and removing the shortcut icons on your desktop through your user profile. go to c:\documents and settings\your profile\desktop and throw them in there and see what happens.
