Two programs I have used for years, I can no longer access. I get this error message:
"The win16 subsystem was unable to enter protected mode; dosx.exe must be in your autoexec.nt and present in your path". I have
autoexec.nt in windows\repair but I can not find dosx.exc anywheres on my hard drive. The
programs are Winworks (word processer) and
Moneycounts (an old accounting program).All
other programs work fine. I recall clearing
some advertising out of my computer yesterday.
