Dos Prompt reboots my computer

Specs: Windows XP, Athlon 64 3400+ / 2GB RAM
I sometimes write some Pearl scripts and I test it in the Dos Prompt. Whenever the output is more than about 10 rows, the computer reboots itself without a warning. This could be all from an infinite loop to a simple print statement. This is non Pearl related because when I output results from a MySQL query, the same thing happens. If the result is more than a page worth, the computer simply reboots.

I have tested the RAM and they seem fine. So I have no idea what could cause this.

Well I don't know what is causing it... but I
do know what the reboot means. The reboot
normally means that your computer has
recovered from a serious error so basically
it is the Blue screen error windows has
except your computer is configured to not
show the blue screen but just to restart.
