Have you tried authenticating yourself to the system? You haven't described the problem very clearly. Why do you want to print through the command prompt (DOS) anyway?

Sick of Windows? Switch to something better.

Finally I found the solutino
Exactly my problem was i m unable to print from DOS to a nw printer
the LPT1 port is not been mapped with the command net use lpt1 \\servername\sharename
because my user is having power user rights in the local PC he shud have to be in a admin group which doesn't allow in my nw policy
so i have tried with mapping to LPT2 its working fine in this
only difference is this when i give print command i have to give type filename >lpt2
