Hi all,

I have a process that tends to terminate spontaneously (periodically), and which leaves no record in the Event Viewer as to why this happens. However, this particular process is an XML server that must be kept running at all times. The system is XP SP2.

I have a script that runs constantly and which calls the XML server every 60 seconds to ensure as much uptime as practicable. It's crude but effective, as only one instance of the server will run at any one time. However, each time the XML server is called it steals the focus, so the window you may have been looking at suddenly switches to the XML server window. Pretty annoying.

So, after all that, does anyone know how to list all running processes (and then parse this list) to check whether XMLSRVR.exe is running?

Thanks for your help,

Paul.
