Hello everyone! :D
OK, I got a DOS 5.0 bootdisk image, and I copied its contents to another image, but the new image didn't boot... :S
It works if I copy the image as a file, but I want to do it the other way because I need to take the files out of the image, edit them, and then put them on another image.
I already tried copying the boot sector properties (Image> Boot sector properties...> Save...) and pasting it in the new image, still doesn't want to boot...
How can I make WinImage do a bootable floppy image?
Thanks! ;)

Make the image of a bootable floppy with winimage and save it as an img file. Winimage will let you extract and insert files into a img file so you can do your editing.

But, I change folders and all of that... and I need to delete all of the files before I re-insert them, and if I delete them all, then it won't boot! :(
Is there another way? :S
Thankx! ;)

if you got the bootdisk from bootdisk.com
than just make the bootdisk and than do the edit to the disk itself...
the bootdisk you get just click on the file it will make the bootdisk for you, otherwise it want boot.make sure you have a floppy disk in the a drive.

when you think that you know it all! you know nothing
