Hi Guys hope you can help.
I have replaced a workstation which logs onto domain server, I have done this many times. I have joined the computer to the Domain but when I log on to the domain from the workstation with either the user name of admin and make changes to the account, ie map a drive or even add a short cut, when I log off and log on again the account is reset and is created new.
I feel there may be a read only issue or seurity in AD that has changed.
I remember this happening many years ago but cant remember the cure :) I hope Im in the right place :)

When I successfully log onto the workstation to the domain with a valid domain user account. In the my "Documents and Settings" I see "User.domain". All work well.
When I log off, this account disappears and reappears fresh and new with all changes lost, with each new log on.
I am not trying to reset an account. I want to stop the resetting.
